10 Jul Meet Dawson

Anybody who has come to stay with us over the last few years has probably met our playful dog. Dawson got his name from our family’s love of Dawson City, YT.  He is part german shepherd and part husky.  Dawson loves to go on walks, get treats from guests, be around people, and play fetch, although admittedly he isn’t the best at bringing the ball back! In the winter he will play in the snow and his coat gets thick to protect him from the freezing temperatures in Fairbanks.  In the summer he will shed a lot and find shady spots to lounge in and keep cool!
