Die Geschichte von A Taste of Alaska Lodge begann 1947, als Walter Eberhardt und seine Frau Dorothy nach Fairbanks zogen und 160 Hektar bewirtschafteten.<\/h6>\n

Walter kam aus Idaho nach Alaska und suchte Arbeit und ein besseres Leben. Zusammen errichteten sie eine Gem\u00fcse- und Heu-Farm. Walter baute ein kleines Haus f\u00fcr sie, zu dem er schlie\u00dflich drei Anbauten und einen Keller hinzuf\u00fcgte.<\/p>\n

Walter\u2019s Sohn, David, erweitert das Anwesen, das jetzt 280 Hektar umfasst. Er und seine Frau Debbie gr\u00fcndeten 1992 A Taste of Alaska Lodge, und das Haupthaus wurde 2 Jahre sp\u00e4ter gebaut. Dave und Debbie haben ein Familienanwesen in ein Familienunternehmen umgewandelt, das Besucher aus aller Welt ganzj\u00e4hrig unterh\u00e4lt. Debbie sammelte die Antiquit\u00e4ten und Artefakte, die heute das Land und die Geb\u00e4ude schm\u00fccken. Sie war f\u00fcr die Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrung verantwortlich, w\u00e4hrend Dave die Wartungs- und Instandhaltung \u00fcbernahm. Das hat er von seinem Vater gelernt.<\/p>\n

Im Jahre 2010 kaufte Dave\u2019s Sohn Kory die Lodge, und leitet sie nun mit seiner Frau Lily. Kory war nur 7 Jahre alt, als das Familienunternehmen er\u00f6ffnet wurde, und er wollte von Anfang an mithelfen. Fast sein ganzes Leben wurde von der A Taste of Alaska Lodge bestimmt. Er und Lily leben in dem Haus, das sein Gro\u00dfvater Walter in den 40er Jahren gebaut hat.\n<\/p>\n

Diese Lodge ist eine grossartige Alternative zu den Hotels in Fairbanks. Sie bietet einen Ausblick auf die Alaskakette, Mt. Denali und Fairbanks in der Ferne.
